Florencio rules seniors masters

AFTER six qualifying days, Boy Florencio of Sletba-Prima rolled a total of 2166 pinfalls during yesterday’s mixed seniors masters finals of the on-going 43rd Philippine National Open Tenpin Bowling Championships to emerge as the Mixed Seniors Masters Champion.

Playing a 10-game series in the finals, Florencio bested first runner-up Caloy Lagman of PTBA-Nobleland who scored 2152 pinfalls.  Not far behind are third placer Lynn Tan of PBA and fourth placer Boy de Leon of Sletba who rolled 2100 and 2084 pinfalls, respectively.

Trophies and cash prizes were awarded to the winners by PBC president Ronnie Mendoza and PBC OIC-treasurer Linda Piedad.

The mixed graded masters finals is scheduled today while the mixed associate masters and mixed open masters finals will be held on Sunday.
