Alapag rules himself out vs ROS, says status still ‘day-to-day’
MANILA, Philippines — Talk ‘N Text point guard Jimmy Alapag won’t make his season debut on Sunday night against Rain or Shine.
The 36-year-old Alapag, who was given a much-needed breather after another tour of duty for Gilas Pilipinas in the Fiba World Cup last August and the Asian Games in September, initially eyed to play his first game in the 2015 PBA Season against the Elasto Painters.

“But I should be back playing soon. Just need some more practice time with the team,” added Alapag, who is in his 12th year in the league and also as a member of Talk ‘N Text.
The Tropang Texters are currently 1-2 after losing to the Alaska Aces last Tuesday on a buzzer-beater by Calvin Abueva.
