UB, Naga forge South title tiff
University of Batangas and Naga College Foundation arranged a title match in the South Luzon-Bicol qualifiers, while Lyceum Northwestern University stayed unbeaten in two games in the North-Central Luzon leg of the Philippine Collegiate Champions League (PCCL).
The winner between the UB Brahmans and the NCF Tigers will not only bag the South Luzon-Bicol varsity crown, but also earn a slot in the Luzon-Metro Manila regional games set next week.
Both squads routed their opponents anew in the round-robin tournament, with the Brahmans blasting Amando Cope College, 101-65, and the Tigers cruising to a 92-45 win over Computer Communication Development Institute of Sorsogon City in the double-header yesterday at Robredo Coliseum in Naga City.
