SBP-Passerelle Mindanao regional caging tomorrow

Mindanao’s top elementary and high school teams will clash for berths in the national finals when the regional tournament of the 2014 Small Basketeers of the Philippines-Passerelle championships unfold tomorrow at Xavier University in Cagayan de Oro.

Competition is expected to be keen in the SBP category as teams from Bukidnon Faith Christian School, General Santos City’s Dadiangas West Central ES, Zamboanga City’s Ferndale International School, and Ateneo de Davao, last year’s regional champions, are seeing action.

Vying in Passerelle play are reigning regional champion Holy Child College of Davao, Cagayan de Oro’s Corpus Christi School, GenSan’s Notre Dame of Dadiangas-IBED Lagao and Zamboanga’s Claret School.

The Mindanao winners of the twin tournament, organized by BEST Center and sponsored by Milo, will advance to the finals slated Dec. 12 to 14 at Magis Eagles Arena of Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu.
