Tanduay beach volleyball tourney gets going

The Tanduay Light Women’s Beach Volleyball Invitational starts Sunday at the sand court of the Cantada Sports Center in Bagumbayan, Taguig City.

Among the pairs participating are Judy Ann Caballejo and Camille Abanto, Sheryl Jane Denila and Gena Andaya, Angel Antipuesto and Neneng Tapic of Philippine Air Force, Jhona San Pedro and Priscilla Catacutan, Cielo Palahang and Nicole Manila of RTU, Ronalyn Romerosa and Jonah Lorraine Hechanova of Earist Manila, and a team from Philippine Normal University.

There is no entry fee in the event organized by Philippine Volleyball Federation director Edgardo “Boy” Cantada and son Gerard. The event is backed by Tanduay Light, Lucio “Bong” Tan Jr., Mapecon and Toyota Balintawak.
