Pasay ‘Super Big Event’ tilt lures 25 topnotch cockers

TWENTY-FIVE top cockers and derby regulars have pledged their support for the Pleasant Group Super Big Event 8-Stag Derby on Nov. 14 at Pasay City Cockpit.

Charlie “Atong” Ang and Gerry Ramos, co-founders of Ultimate Fighting Champions (UFCC), will head their group while cockfight “Idol” and Rep. Patrick Antonio, Jun Santiago and former Gov. Ito Ynares will lead the National Cockers Alliance (NCA) big guns.

More than 100 fights are expected in the derby supported by Sagupaan Complexor 3000 and hosted by Jake Javier of Batangas.

PCC pit manager Eric dela Rosa said only stags banded by “Bakbakan” and “Digmaan” can be fielded in the one-day event. Submission of entries is on Nov. 13.
