Inquirer hoops: DPU-Sports rips Finance squad

THE INQUIRER Digital Pre-press Unit (DPU)-Sports crew rode on Cedelf Tupas’ 36 points to crush Finance, 72-47, yesterday at the start of the 2014 Inquirer basketball tourney held at St. Paul’s Seminary in Makati City.

Streaky guard Vince Amar carried the most of the scoring burden for Finance, scattering 20 points in the game that was graced by Inquirer Group CEO Sandy Prieto-Romualdez and COO Rene Reinoso.

Ritche Sabado, Sonny Cruz and June Navarro combined for 13 points and helped DPU-Sports break the game wide open.

Also contributing were Reggie Molleda, Jerry Ruiz, Genie Lagman, Son Dalupang, Rolly Delluta, Ninoy Dayrit  and Cio Francisco.

Meanwhile, Circulation crushed Advertising, 73-59, while InfoTech breezed past Dream Team,  56-42.
