Kristy Jaeckel turned in yet another explosive show last night, firing 26 points to lead Mane ‘N Tail to a 25-22, 25-15, 25-21 win over Generika for its second win in the Philippine Superliga Grand Prix volleyball presented by Asics at Cuneta Astrodome.
Firing from the back row with enough force past multiple blockers, the current scoring champion drew enough support from her teammates this time as the Lady Stallions climbed to 2-3 in the women’s division.
The Life Savers sank deeper in the standings with a 1-3 card.

Jaeckel finished with 22 kills, three aces and one block, while fellow import Kaylee Manns orchestrated the free-flowing offense with 25 excellent sets.
Manns added six points, the same output turned in by locals Michiko Castaneda and Michelle Datuin while Rosain Fajardo had five.
Natalia Korobkova wound up with 12 points for the Life Savers, who also got 10 points from Aby Marano, and eight from Cha Cruz.
With Generika’s import setter Miyo Shinohara failing to set the offense going, the Life Savers failed to get into the game.
The Japanese, whose short, quick sets simply didn’t suit the team’s style, had 14 excellent sets and didn’t score a point.
Generika also committed 25 errors as compared to 15 by Mane ’N Tail though the Life Savers showed better reception with 27 against the 16 by the Lady Stallions.
Another women’s match between Petron and Foton and the men’s duel between Cignal and Cavite were still being played at press time.
