MANILA, Philippines — Wangs Basketball rebounded from an embarrassing loss with an 80-72 win over Racal Motors in the 2015 PBA D-League Aspirants Cup Monday at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

Michael Miranda posted a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds for the Couriers.
“I liked the confidence shown by our players compared to our last game,” said Wangs head coach Pablo Lucas, whose team dropped a 70-87 decision to MP Hotel in their last outing. “Our last game served as a lesson for us.”

“The intensity and aggressiveness were also here.”

Wangs missed the services of its starting guard Michael Juico but got ample contributions from its other players.
