Arbues-Lin grabs 4×4 golf lead at Eagle Ridge

IRENEO Arbues and Moses Lin assembled 126 to grab the clubhouse lead in Class A in the 4×4 Invitational member-guest tournament at Eagle Ridge Golf and Country Club in Gen. Trias, Cavite.

Arbues (42) and Lin (40) made 82 points in aggregate format at the Faldo course and 44 in scramble at the Aoki layout.

They are one up on Ramil Villanueva-Arnel Paras (125).

Arbues and Lin will play the Dye and Norman courses for their last two rounds in the event sponsored by San Miguel-Purefoods, WG, Toyota Calamba Laguna, Sta. Lucia, ICTSI and LK Golf and Inquirer Golf.

Severino Oliva and Danilo Mercado (44-44) share the top spot in Class B with Cyril Salamanque and Gerry Sales with 88 apiece while Uriel Halum and Ricardo Celino are ahead in Class C with 125 (84-43).

In Class D, Rolly Dizon and David Virgilio 168 (84-84) are  ahead of Cesar Dones and Perpetuo Faytaren and Rizaldo Rozas and Elmer Geconcillo, who have 165s (81-84).

Backed by Texas Eagle, Aviva, and GPS Tracker, the other 4×4 leaders are Catherine Borja and Abigael Lapid (132) in the ladies’ group and Erwin Beltran and Jose Cristi (166) in the member-member category.
