Homegrown fighters Ernesto Montilla Jr. and Glen Ranillo gun for titles in what promises to be an explosive PXC 46 fight card on Saturday at Ynares Sports Arena.

Montilla battles Filipino-American Alvin Cacdac for the vacant PXC flyweight title while Ranillo faces another formidable foe in Chuji Kato of Japan in a lightweight title bout.

Having won his last two fights, the power-punching Montilla is confident of a victory.

“I trust my preparation that’s why I’m confident I can win the fight,” said Montilla during a press conference at TV5’s studio in Mandaluyong.

The California-based Cacdac has also won his last two fights with his recent victory coming at the expense of Trevin Jones in PXC 40 last year.

Ranillo is seeking to extend his three-match winning streak against Kato, who is coming off a yearlong layoff.

“If I get an opening, I will knock him out,” Ranillo boldly said.
