‘NC’ volleyball: Perpetual, Arellano score

Perpetual Help and Arellano U lived up to their top billings as the two pulled off contrasting victories over Jose Rizal and Mapua, respectively, in yesterday’s curtain-raiser of the 90th NCAA women’s volleyball tournament at MOA Arena in Pasay City. The Lady Altas, winners of the last three championships, turned back the Lady Bombers, 22-25, 25-18, 25-20, 25-19, while the the Lady Chiefs, last year’s runners up, trounced the Lady Cardinals, 25-12, 25-20, 25-22.
