Robles stars as Realtors outclass Uratex
STA. LUCIA Land Inc. demolished Uratex Foam, 96-73, for its third straight victory in the 4th DELeague Invitational basketball tournament Tuesday night at Marikina Sports Center.
Billy Robles netted 15 points, four rebounds and four assists to lead the Realtors, who also scored lopsided wins over Kawasaki Marikina, 81-52, and Supremo Lex Builders-OLFU, 85-71, after bowing in overtime to two-time defending champion Hobe Bihon-JVC, 79-80, on opening day. Jeff Vidal also threw in 11 points and three steals for Sta. Lucia.
Rey Publico led Uratex with 17 points and eight boards.
Article continues after this advertisementIn the other game, Supremo Lex Builders triumphed over winless Philippine National Police, 89-71, to remain in contention for a semifinals berth in the league supported by Marikina Mayor Del De Guzman and sponsored by PCA Marivalley, St. Anthony Hospital, PS Bank Blue Wave Marquinton Branch, Luyong Restaurant Concepcion, Mckie’s Equipment Sales and Rental and Tutor 911.
Greb Vilalon scored 13 points for the Builders while Jaymar Misola collected 14 points and six rebounds for PNP.
DELeague resumed yesterday with FEU-NRMF facing the MBL Selection of Marist School and Hobe-JVS taking on Kawasaki Marikina.
