MANILA, Philippines — Paul Lee posted a double-double as Rain or Shine cruised to 107-79 win over slumping Meralco in the 2015 PBA Philippine Cup at the University of Southeastern Philippines Gym Saturday night in Davao.

Lee scored 20 points and dished out 10 assists as the Elasto Painters racked up their third straight win for a 5-2 record.

The 25-year-old Lee went 4-of-8 from long range and also had five rebounds and two steals to boot.

The Painters had it going from the three-point area with the team making 13 of them, most of which came in the second half where they pulled away.

A wide open three-pointer by Jeff Chan extended ROS’ lead to 30 before Lee followed it up with his own triple for a 101-68 buffer with only 6:03 remaining.

Chan finished with 16 points while rookie Jericho Cruz added 15.

Raymond Almazan also notched a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds for Rain or Shine, which had 30 assists on its 37 field goals and only 11 turnovers.

Almazan though, caught an elbow to the ear from Meralco’s veteran big man John Ferriols that sparked an altercation at the 11:19 mark of the fourth quarter and Rain or Shine leading, 87-58.

Fortunately, the scuffle was immediately pacified.

ROS head coach Yeng Guiao got tossed after picking up two technical fouls with 10:31 left in the second quarter.

Mark Macapagal had 16 for the Bolts, who absorbed their third loss in six games.
