SEVEN Filipinos, led by international mixed martial arts star Brandon Vera, will headline One FC: Warrior’s Way on Dec. 5 at Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay.
Joining the Filipino-American Vera are Jujeath Nagaowa, Ana Julaton, Rene Catalan, Honorio Banario, Kevin Belingon and Eduard Folayang.
Vera, who will be making his ONE FC (ONE Fighting Championship) debut, will take on Ukraine’s Igor Subora.
Julaton is a former WBO and IBA super bantamweight champion while Catalan, Banario, Belingon and Folayang have a long list of accomplishments in wushu.
Nagaowa will face Tharoth Sam, a female mixed martial arts pioneer from Cambodia; Julaton will battle Egyptian kickboxing champion Walaa Abbas; and former ONE FC featherweight world champion Banario will test the mettle of jiu-jitsu world champion Herbert Burns of Brazil.
