Sprint races highlight Tri United 4 series
THE SPRINT races take centerstage when another leg of the 2014 Tri United series fires off on Nov. 23 at Fontana Leisure Park at Clark Freeport in Pampanga.
Over 650 triathletes have signed up for Tri United 4, which features the 600m swim-30K bike-5K run for sprint contenders, including those in the team relay and age-group competitors (15 years and up).
Participants in the team relay, which will be patterned after the International Triathlon Union’s mixed relay event, must field four members and at least one female racer.
Article continues after this advertisementA shorter 300m swim-15K bike-2.5 K run sprint distance course has also been set for triathletes 13 to 14 years old.
Unilab Active Health will feature two of its Elite teams in an exhibition race featuring 10 other triathlon clubs.
The top three male and female winners will receive specially designed medals and gift packs.
