MANILA, Philippines — Hollywood action superstars Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger paid Manny Pacquiao a visit in his dressing room prior to the Filipino ring legend’s title bout against unbeaten American Chris Algieri on Sunday at The Venetian in Macau.
Stallone and Schwarzenegger also took time to drop by Algieri’s locker room. Stallone, who also starred in a classic action film “Rambo,” has reportedly pledged his support to his countryman Algieri.
Algieri, who is having the biggest fight of his career, earned the nickname as the modern day “Rocky” after winning his last two bouts in comeback fashion. “Rocky” is an American sports drama film where Stallone played the lead role.
Pacquiao and Algieri will be fighting for the Fighter of the Decade’s WBO welterweight crown.
