MANILA, Philippines—For the 64th time, Manny Pacquiao stepped on the ring and this time against the brash undefeated New Yorker Chris Algieri at the Cotai Arena inside the Venetian Macao Sunday afternoon.

Pacquiao is four inches shorter than the 5-foot-10 Algieri but experience is gravely on his side with the only eight-division World Champion fighting in 43 more fights than the American who is fighting in his 21st professional fight.

Up for grabs is Pacquiao’s World Boxing Organization Welterweight Championship.

Chants of “Manny” hollering inside the arena started things off with a solid straight but Algieri brushed it off and continued to dance with the Filipino.

Pacquiao then put the pressure on Algieri pinning the American to the ropes and corners as the challenger continued to backpedal from the Fighter of the Decade.

Continuing to stalk the challenger, Pacquiao looked to land combinations to the face of Algieri but to no avail.
