MANILA, Philippines — Former flyweight champion Brian Viloria continued his resurgence with an early knockout win over Mexican opponent Armando Vasquez Sunday (Manila time) at the Civic Auditorium in Glendale, California.

Viloria unleashed a crushing left hook to the body that dropped Vasquez to one knee. Vasquez tried but couldn’t get himself up to beat the count as the referee stopped the bout at the 41-second mark of the fourth round.
