San Beda College Alabang and Enderun Colleges Inc. grabbed the early lead with two straight wins in the 13th Women’s Colleges Sports Association (WCSA).
SBCA opened the basketball season last Nov. 30 with a 73-60 win over St. Paul University Quezon City at Assumption gym.
Last Sunday, SBCA improved to 2-0 after beating University of Asia & the Pacific, 58-37, at its homecourt.
Enderun likewise has a 2-0 slate after winning over UA&P, 55-43, and Philippine Women’s University, 51-43.
SPUQC has an even 1-1 mark after upending St. Scholastica’s College, 60-33, also last Sunday.
PWU and St. Scholastica had earlier posted wins over Miriam College, 86-33, and host Assumption College, 53-31, respectively.
UA&P and Assumption are winless in two starts.
Other WCSA events are futsal, poomsae, table tennis, volleyball badminton, cheer dance and swimming.
