Also advancing were defending champions Jeffrey de Luna and Jeffrey Ignacio, who bested Napoleon Labrador and Reynaldo Lariba, and Carlo Biado and Anthony Raga who routed Lee Van Corteza and Jericho Banares, both by 9-4 scores. Taiwan’s Ko Pin-yi and Ko Pin-chung ousted the tandem of Thorsten Hohmann and John Morra, 9-6.
