Tagum in Davao del Norte beat five other cities in Mindanao for the hosting rights to the 2015 Palarong Pambansa, Philippine Sports Commission chair Richie Garcia announced yesterday following the bidding held at the Department of Education in Pasig City. Tagum got 16 of 18 votes, defeating Zamboanga City, Dipolog City, Koronadal City and Caraga and Tubod in Lanao Del Norte. “The facilities of Tagum are ready. Even if we hold the Palaro next week, the city will be ready,” said Garcia. June Navarro
