The 2014-2015 cock season starts with a bang this Friday at Pasay City Cockpit via the Habagat “Big Event” 6-Cock Derby.
More than 90 fights are expected in this top competition to be hosted by Paul Habagat of Pasig and supported by Sagupaan Complexor 3000.
The one-day format will be adopted.
Popular cockers and breeders comprise the participants, led by cockfight “Idol” and Rep. Patrick Antonio, fresh off his victory in the San Roque 110K Big Event 6-Cock Derby last Dec. 7 in Bulacan.
Meanwhile, the PCC will also stage the UFCC 6-Stag Super Derby on Thursday, the Christmas “Barkadahan” 4-Cock Derby on Dec. 26 and Apo Singapore 4-Cock Derby on Dec. 29.
