Portugal is GT Driver of the Year

DONDON Portugal formally seized the 2014 Yokohama GT Driver of the Year plum even as deposed champion Jody Coseteng stole the limelight via a sweep of the two races in the sixth and final leg of the 2014 Yokohama Philippine Grand Touring (GT) Car Championships held recently  at  Batangas Racing Circuit.

Portugal, the Mayor of Taysan in Batangas, wrapped up his campaign with 310 points to capture the GT300 title.  Actor Jomari Yllana was overall runner-up honors with 129 points while Coseteng placed third.

Paolo Mantolino bagged the GT200, 2014 PTCC and AAP Driver of the Year titles, Richmond de la Rosa topped GT150 and Edwin Rodriguez snared the GT100 crown.
