ATENEO and Adamson seek repeat triumphs when the baseball and softball tournaments of UAAP Season 77 unfolds next week at Rizal Memorial Baseball Stadium.

The Blue Eagles are favored to nail a third straight baseball crown after keeping the core of their title-winning squad last season.
The baseball tournament was moved to Jan. 25 due to the ongoing visit of Pope Francis, with the Blue Eagles facing the  Adamson Falcons at 7 a.m.

The Blue Eagles will have to wait until the end of the first round on Feb. 8 for their showdown with La Salle in a rematch of last year’s final.

Adamson coach Ana Santiago is rebuilding her side after losing Cindy Banay, Rizza Bernardino, former MVPs Luzviminda Embudo and Elvie Entrina, and ace pitcher Julie Marie Muyco due to graduation.
