PH netball eyes SEA Games stint
THE NEWLY-FORMED Philippine women’s netball team is hoping to catch the last bus to the Singapore Southeast Asian Games.
Netball Philippines Association president Charlie Ho yesterday said that while they already have a national pool, they will still conduct tryouts on Jan. 24 and 25 to ensure a stronger squad to the biennial games.
Ho said the PH team’s chance of competing in the SEA Games in June depends on its performance in the Brunei Nations Cup from Feb. 28 to March 4.
