Zaragosa, Constantino rule jungolf anniversary tilt
RUPERT Zaragosa and Harmie Constantino led the winners in the recent 10th anniversary tournament of the Jungolf Association of Valley Golf (JAV) at Valley Golf and Country Club in Antipolo where prizes including playing privileges were given away.
Zaragosa fired a 10-under 62 on the first day and a 69 on the second for a 131 aggregate. He was followed by 13-year-old Aidric Chan’s 141 with Ryan Monsalve claiming third in the 15-17 division. Constantino, Samantha Bruce, and Annika Cedo got their share of the playing privileges at Valley by taking the top three places in the 15-17 Girls.
Meanwhile, Valley Golf and Country Club, Inc’s. (VGCCI) president Jose Tayawa and past president Noel Flores together with JAV president Judeo Chan announced the forthcoming JAV International Open set in December. Five countries including Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, and Brunei already committed to join.
OTHER WINNERS: Carlo Villaroman, Carl Jano Corpus, and Paqo Barro in boys 13-14, Josh Jorge, Perry Bucay, and Jed Dy in boys 11-12, Mariel Tee, Jamina Uttoh, and Laia Barro in girls 11-12, Ken Shibata, Sean Granada, and Sean Ramos in boys 9-10, Samantha Dizon and Annika Chua in girls 9-10, Andrew Chua, Santino Pineda, and Kirk Dela Torre in boys 7-8. Theresa Dela Paz claimed the girls 7-8 plum.
