ICTSI-JGFP Inter-school nat’l finals on at Orchard

THE JUNIOR golf season officially begins today with the ICTSI-JGFP National Inter-School Championship finals at the Player course of Orchard Golf and Country Club in Dasmariñas, Cavite.

The 36-hole event is the culmination of a six-month series of elimination legs and will pit qualifiers from Luzon against Visayas and Mindanao bets.

The finalists will be contending for team and individual awards  in Seniors, Juniors, Midgets 1, Midgets 2, Girls 1, Girls 2, Girls and three classes each in boys’ and girls’ development level of the event backed by International Container Terminal Services, Inc. Foundation and Jungolf Foundation of the Philippines in coordination with the Philippine Golf Foundation.

Focus will be on the seniors battle of the tournament, also supported by Martin Lorenzo, Golf Depot, Inquirer Golf and Orchard Golf & Country Club, featuring college schools bannered by Rupert Zaragosa (Lyceum), AR Ramos (La Salle) and JP de Claro (University of the Philippines).

Finalists: Assumption, Ateneo, St. Paul Pasig, Immaculate Conception Academy, Centre of International Education, Poveda, La Salle Taft, Green Hills, Zobel and Canlubang, Learning Links Academy, Brent, Xavier, St. Benilde, University of Santo Tomas, Lyceum, University of the Philippines, OB Montessori, San Miguel Elementary School, Laurel Spring School, Philippine Science, Oro Christian, Blooming Field Academy, Manila Japanese School, Don Bosco Mandaluyong, St. Michael Academy, Casa Real Montessori, Poveda, Makati Hope Christian School, San Beda Alabang, Hope Christian Academy, Fountain International, Living Heritage, MGC New Life Christian Academy, School of Tomorrow
