CLEVELAND — Cavaliers star LeBron James missed practice with flu-like symptoms, leaving his status for Wednesday’s game against Utah uncertain.

James recently missed eight games with a strained back and knee. The Cavs went 1-7 without him, but have gone 3-1 since the four-time league MVP returned. James scored 26 points in 36 minutes on Monday night as Cleveland won its third straight, 108-94 over the Chicago Bulls.

He was not at practice Tuesday and coach David Blatt said James was at home. The team is expected to update his status following Wednesday’s shootaround.

James said the two-week break was good for his body, and he’s feeling better than he has all season. The 30-year-old has shown flashes of explosiveness that weren’t there earlier.

Blatt says the team heavily relies on James and when healthy, he “influences in every respect.”
