Iloilo hosts Palawan Pawnshop tennis
Iloilo City takes its turn to host the Palawan Pawnshop-Palawan Express Pera Padala Dinagyang Tennis Festival beginning today with a huge field clashing for top honors in various divisions at LaPaz Tennis Club in Iloilo City.
Manila-based players Cenon Gonzales and Jerome Romualdez bring their rivalry to Iloilo with the former eyeing a repeat of his three-set victory in last week’s kickoff of the 38-leg circuit sponsored by the country’s leading pawnshop, remittance and claim center.
Justin Suarez joins the fray in the boys’ 16-and-under category as the top NCR bets slug it out with a host of others.

“This promises to be an exciting week with over 200 players from all over competing,” said vice mayor Jose Espinosa III.
