Hapee may be headed straight to the semifinals, but coach Ronnie Magsanoc still wants to see his Fresh Fighters go for an elimination sweep against the only other unbeaten team in the PBA D-League Aspirants Cup today.

“We have to try to sustain our momentum,” said Magsanoc.

The Fresh Fighters shoot for a perfect 11-0 card against the Cagayan Valley at 4 p.m. on the penultimate day of the elimination round at Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

The Fresh Fighters and the Rising Suns (9-0) have already secured the top two spots and the outright semifinal incentives, leaving the next four teams to square off in the quarterfinals.

The Giants take on MJM M-Builders at 2 p.m., while the Gems clash with MP Hotel at 12 noon. Idle Cafe France (9-2) has already nailed the third spot and the first twice-to-beat advantage in the next round.
