MANILA, Philippines—When a champion meets British royalty, they have some tea.

And probably some fish and chips.

As the lore of Manny Pacquiao only gets larger, it’s no surprise that Prince Harry would want the eight-division World Champion to dine with him at the Buckingham Palace.

On his Instagram page, Pacquiao, together with wife Jinkee, said that their dinner with Harry was “so nice” and he thanked the Lord for the opportunity to meet and dine with a member of the British Royalty.

Pacquiao wore a brown suit on top of a printed dress shirt, while Jinkee wore a conservative pink trench coat.

Harry, who is a known sports fan, also met with New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony a few days back when the Knickerbockers were in Britain to face the Milwaukee Bucks in a regular season game of the NBA.

“[He is] so nice and humble,” Pacquiao said of Harry in another of his posts. “May God bless you more Prince Harry. [It] was a great experience. [Thank] You, Lord.”

Pacquiao also gave Harry a pair of autographed Cleto Reyes boxing gloves designed with the Philippine flag colors.

Anthony, during his visit, gave the Prince a New York Knicks jersey emblazoned with Wales on the back and a pair of size 15 Jordan Melo M11’s.
