SBC, Arellano bag titles
SAN BEDA extended its dominance in football for another crown in an already trophy-littered season, while Arellano swept San Sebastian in their best-of-three series to nail a first women’s volleyball crown yesterday in the 90th NCAA season.
Already champions in basketball and swimming, the Red Lions also captured a fifth straight crown in football with a 4-0 whipping of Lyceum at Rizal Memorial Stadium.
The Lady Chiefs completed their rise to the top with a comprehensive 25-23, 25-19, 26-24 victory over the San Sebastian Lady Stags at Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan.

Miguel Caindec was also on target early in the second half as the Red Lions put the game beyond reach.
San Beda turned up its pressing game and proved quick on the counter to rattle Lyceum.
