Venus Williams’ strong Australian Open run continues
MELBOURNE — Venus Williams’ strong run at the Australian Open continued Monday when she beat sixth-seeded Agnieszka Radwanska 6-3, 2-6, 6-1 to reach a Grand Slam quarterfinal for the first time since 2010.
After recovered an early break in the third, 34-year-old Williams dominated the rest of the match and clinched it with an ace to set up a match against fellow American Madison Keys.

Now a quarterfinal win could put the seven-time major winner into a potential semifinal against her younger sister, top-seeded Serena Williams.
