MANILA, Philippines – Did Manny and Floyd already seal the deal?
After their unprecedented meeting inside the American Airlines Arena in Florida during a basketball game, Floyd Mayweather personally went to the hotel where Manny Pacquiao is staying and chatted with the Filipino boxer, a radio report said.
Bernard Cloma, who was described in the program as Pacquiao’s close friend, told DZMM that Mayweather and Pacquiao met at the living room of Pacquiao’s hotel.
Cloma added that Pacquiao’s wife, Jinky, was present during the two boxers’ conversation.
He said that he overheard during their conversation that their megafight would push through.
Cloma accompanied Pacquiao when the boxing icon met Prince Harry in London and when he went to the 2015 Miss Universe where he was one of the pageant’s judges.
On Wednesday morning (Manila time), Pacquiao and Mayweather finally met during the NBA game between the Miami Heat and Milwaukee Bucks in Florida.
