US Senator Harry Reid jokes injury with Pacquiao

MANILA, Philippines-When United States Senator Harry Reid hangs out with boxing legend Manny Pacquiao, the Senate Minority leader jokes.

He jokes about his black eye.

Reid said he didn’t get his injury from “sparring with Manny.”

He did, however, got the injury in during an exercise early in 2015.

Reid was at Capitol Hill where Pacquiao also made his rounds during the National Prayer Breakfast where he joined US President Barack Obama and the Dalai Lama in, well, praying.

Pacquiao met with Reid where the Democratic leader talked about his injury, which was under heavy bandage, and that he wants the mega fight between the Filipino against Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Reid also posted their meeting on Twitter.

“Explained my injury to @MannyPacquiao. He also told me he’s ready to fight @FloydMayweather. Let’s make it happen,” he said in a tweet.

People can only imagine what a Pacquiao left hook can do to the 75-year-old senator.
