Milo Checkmate set Saturday

MANILA, Philippines—Registration for the first series of the Milo Checkmate Saturday-only chess clinics is now under way at four venues in Metro Manila.

The chess clinics will start tomorrow at the following venues and time slots: San Sebastian College Grade School Dept., 8-11 a.m.; Starmall Edsa Shaw 2F event area, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., Grace Christian College at Sto. Domingo Street, Quezon City, 7:20 a.m.-11 a.m.; and NES Commercial 3F at Evacom, Sucat, 3 p.m.-6 p.m.

The clinic consists of chess lessons, practice games and competitions. Courses offered are for beginners, intermediate and advance. Freebies will be given away to the first batch enrollees.
