MANILA, Philippines—Adamson picked up a 52nd straight win in women’s softball, while Ateneo completed a 5-0 baseball sweep of the first round in UAAP action over the weekend at Rizal Memorial Baseball Stadium.
University of the Philippines kept top spot in men’s football at FEU-Diliman pitch, while the UP Streetdance Club also ruled the revived streetdance competition Sunday at Mall of Asia Arena.
In juniors basketball, National University clinched the last title slot after routing La Salle Zobel, 61-45, in the stepladder semifinals yesterday at Blue Eagle Gym.

Renzo Ramos and Ryon Tionloc earlier gave the Blue Eagles a 2-1 edge to back up rookie pitcher Paulo Macasaet, who struck out 10 batters.
In football, UP exploded for four goals in five minutes to down University of Santo Tomas, 4-1, and keep the solo top spot with 24 points.
Jinggoy Valmayor netted a brace (41st and 45th), while Carlos Monfort (44th) and Vincent Aguilar (45th) also scored to lead the Maroons.
La Salle remained a close second with 23 points after tripping UE, 1-0.
