Hope Christian, Holy Family stay unbeaten in WVL

MANILA, Philippines—Hope Christian High School and Holy Family School-QC logged their third straight wins recently to join three other undefeated teams at the helm of their respective groups in the 17-and-under Competitive Division of the Women’s Volleyball League at Xavier School gym.

Hope Christian bested La Consolacion-Novaliches (1-4), 25-14, 25-18, to tie King’s Mon-tessori for the Group A lead of the event organized by Best Center and sponsored by Milo.

Holy Family crushed PWU-JASMS (1-3), 25-11, 25-11, to stay unscathed in Group C.

Also unbeaten were Escuela de Sophia (4-0) in Group B and CSA-Makati (3-0) in Group D.

CSA-Makati (6-0) leads Group D of the 17-under Developmental Division following a 25-8, 25-14 bashing of PWU High School (0-4).

Also logging its sixth straight win was Assumption College, which zapped St. Paul-Pasig B (2-3), 25-21, 25-10, for the Group B lead.

In Group A, St. Scholastica-A routed Australian International School, 25-8, 25-14.
