Rested LA Tenorio ready for Talk N’ Text

MANILA, Philippines—A couple of days in the hospital means no problem for LA Tenorio.

After lying in bed for Wednesday and Thursday, Tenorio said he was thankful that he got some well-deserved rest despite the stomach flu that hampered him.

“I’m okay,” Tenorio said who only got back with the team Friday morning. “I chose to stay one more night since it’s not always easy processing stuff in the hospital and I got to take some rest.”

He said that he lost vital fluids which resulted to his time off.

Tenorio and his Ginebra crew finished off Kia, 100-92, where he scored 11 points and dished out seven assists.

And he is ready to get some Sunday praise after their game against the Talk N’ Text Tropang Texters.

“It’s always a hard matchup for us when we play against TNT,” Tenorio said. “It’s added motivation for us since they eliminated us in the playoffs in the Philippine Cup.”

Ginebra turned back to a run-and-gun offense, which Tenorio said is at 80 percent, would go up TNT, which is starting to gel in Jong Uichico’s system.
