Pagunsan shoots 70, gets under cutoff wire

HUA HIN, Thailand—Juvic Pagunsan fired a two-under-par 70 in the second round Friday and barely made the cut in the True Thailand Classic at Black Mountain Golf Club. With his opening 72 Thursday, Pagunsan pooled 142, nine shots off leader Miguel Angel Jimenez (67-66, 133) of Spain and right on the cutoff mark. Antonio Lascuña (72-145) and Angelo Que (75-147), the only other Fiipinos in the elite field, missed the weekend play.  Asian Tour News
