FLOYD Mayweather Jr.’s signature is all that is needed for the megabuck showdown with Manny Pacquiao to push through this year.
“Pirma na lang (All it needs is a signature),” Pacquiao was quoted as saying on GMA News TV’s “Balita Pilipinas Ngayon” on Thursday.
Pacquiao said he will just wait for the fight contract to be signed, adding he is optimistic it will be accomplished within the week.
Recently, Mayweather hied off to the Caribbean as rumors flew of disagreements between his camp and that of Pacquiao over fight terms. The two fighters finally saw each other and talked briefly during a Miami Heat game in Florida in the last week of January. Roy Luarca
