Nagaño NCA derby champ
MAYOR Elan Nagaño’s “Sanleo” entry scored a perfect 6 points and ruled the fifth leg of the National Cockers Alliance (NCA) derby series last Tuesday at Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.
So dominant was Nagaño’s charges that his other entry, “Alan Tan Macking,” finished second with 5.5 points in the derby sponsored by Sagupaan Complexor.
“Anac-IP” of Rep. Josep Panganiban, “San Juan Coliseum” of Bong Pineda, “Santiago City March 9 5-Cock B’day Derby” of Ed Miranda tied for place with 5 points apiece.
The entries of Jun Topacio, former governor Ito Ynares and Atty. Santos came next with 4.5 each.
The next NCA derby gets going on Tuesday with top cockers Jun Topacio, Federico Gatchalian and Peter Unabia as hosts.
Prominent guest breeders T. Sevilla, JR Tolentino, Tady Palma, Atong Ang, Atty. Villanueva, Engr. Peme, Dong Lamoste and Atty. Jojo Alcovendaz have been invited to duke it out with NCA members.
