MANILA, Philippines—Adamson University faced little resistance from De La Salle University to cruise to an 11-1 win and extend its winning streak on Saturday in the UAAP Season 77 softball tournament at the Rizal Memorial Baseball Stadium.

The Lady Falcons, eyeing a fifth straight championship, needed only five innings to dispose of the Lady Archers, who dropped to 4-2, and nail their 54th consecutive victory spanning four seasons.

Meanwhile, University of the Philippines turned back National University, 10-3, in six innings, and University of Santo Tomas downed University of the East, 7-3.

The Lady Maroons and the Tigresses are now in a three-way tie with the Lady Warriors in third place with identical 3-3 records. The Lady Falcons are comfortably at the top at 6-0.
