MGM still available for fans who want to see Pacquiao-Mayweather bout

MANILA, Philippines–Want to have easy access to the Manny Pacquiao-Floyd Mayweather Jr. megafight?

It looks like fans are still in luck.

According to USA Today, MGM Grand still has plenty of rooms for May 1 and 2 just in time for a one-day leeway before Pacquiao and Mayweather break some fight and broadcast records and probably some body parts.

Boxing’s all-time greats will duke it out on May 2 (May 3 in Manila) that will punctuate a six-year-long saga of trash-talking and suspense.

MGM Grand spokesperson Yvette Monet said the hotel was nowhere near being sold out and if someone logs on to their website, www.mgmgrand.com, a toll-free line would allow someone to get a reservation for the much-anticipated weekend.

A computer glitch made it look like that the hotel was fully booked for May 1 and 2.

Pacquiao and Mayweather will slug it out at the MGM Grand Garden Arena which can be easily accessed from the MGM Grand.
