Free bleachers seats for Pacquiao’s last PBA game before Mayweather fight

MANILA, Philippines – The PBA opened the gallery section of the San Juan Arena on Saturday for the match between Blackwater and Kia to fans who want to watch for free as a fitting on sendoff for boxing champion Manny Pacquiao.

PBA media bureau Chief Willie Marcial said the seats will be on a first-come, first-served basis since the upper section of the venue can only accommodate around 2,000 people.

Kia playing-coach Pacquiao is expected to suit up before leaving later in the night to continue his training in the US for his megafight with pound-for-pound fighter Floyd Mayweather Jr. on May 2.

The Carnival are primed to win their third game in a row and fourth victory overall against the Elite, who have been struggling since their breakthrough win over the San Miguel Beermen two weeks ago.

“Kailangan ipanalo din natin yan (We need to win that too),” Pacquiao said on Wednesday shortly after Kia’s upset win over Talk ‘N Text, 106-103.
