MANILA, Philippines—From New York to Venezuela to the Philippines and now to Miami, Henry Walker has come a long way.

After plying his trade with the Alaska Aces in the PBA in 2014, Walker is back in the NBA and has helped the Miami Heat to a 93-90 win over intra-state rivals Orlando Magic on Wednesday, Feb. 25.

Walker had 10 points which included two timely threes and a thunderous slam.

He told CBS Sports after the Magic game that all of his shortcomings and return to the NBA are in accordance with God’s plans.

It means everything, man. I’ve got a strong faith in God, man. I’ve been through a lot. I’m a fighter, I missed a lot of shots but I stayed in there and made it—that’s just God man, faith,” Walker said on his return.
