MANILA, Philippines — American rapper Curtis James Jackson III, popularly known as 50 Cent, intends to bet $1.6 million on Floyd Mayweather Jr. to beat Manny Pacquiao on their scheduled May 2 clash in Las Vegas.

The New York native said in a radio interview with Power 105.1 FM that he doesn’t have any doubts on who is going to end up on top between Pacquiao and Mayweather.

“Champ gonna smoke him,” he said, referring to the undefeated pound-for-pound king, in a story posted on washingtonpost.com.

50 Cent also said he and Mayweather are on “speaking terms again” after a fallout that saw the two jawing at each other in social media.
