MANILA, Philippines—A bigger and better “Football Para Sa Bayan” program will be launched this year by telecommunications firm Globe, which has joined forces with its mass market brand TM to bolster the campaign.

Now on its third year, the program will continue staging clinics, festivals and mentoring sessions for key barangays and clubs.

Former Azkals skipper and Globe ambassador Chieffy Caligdong said the program has produced success stories with several beneficiaries of the program going on to secure scholarships through football.
