San Fernando Fiesta chess tilt slated

MANILA, Philippines—The 2015 San Fernando City, La Union chess tournament gets going on Saturday at the Manna Mall. The event—sponsored by the city government headed by Mayor Pablo C. Ortega—will have four categories: 10-U, 12-U and 14-U for kiddies and Open for non-masters. The event, organized by statistician Joseph Dumuk, has been attracting participants from La Union, Pangasinan, Ilocos Sur and Baguio City.
